Information we collect
We collect account information (such as your name, username, email, and sign-in provider), your profile details, content you post (voice notes, photos, captions, and replies), and usage data such as which posts you have viewed or reacted to.
How we use it
We use this information to provide Reson, rank your feed (including showing posts you have not seen yet), personalize your experience, keep the community safe, enforce our terms, and communicate with you about the service.
Safety checks
To keep Reson safe, the words in voice notes are transcribed and checked, and captions, comments, and photos are checked for content that breaks our rules. Some checks happen on your device; posts are also checked by our moderation service providers after you share them. Content that breaks the rules may be hidden and reviewed.
Birthday
Your date of birth is stored privately and only you can see it. You choose whether your profile shows your full birthday, only the month and day, or nothing at all.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, we store a device token so we can alert you about activity on your account. The token is removed when you sign out.
Verification documents
If you apply for a Golden or Pale tick, the document you upload is stored privately and is only seen by Reson's review team. It is deleted when you delete your account.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of your subscription from Apple but never see your payment details.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate Reson (such as hosting, storage, notifications, and moderation) under strict agreements, or when the law requires it.
Location
If you allow location access, your city is worked out on your device to show nearby posts first. Your exact location is not uploaded or shared.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data and account. Delete your account from Settings at any time. For other requests contact support@joinreson.com. Some data may be retained where required by law.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure; use a strong password and sign out on shared devices.
